From 12oz commuter cups to 40oz mega tumblers — how to choose the right sizes for your range.
Capacity is one of the first decisions a buyer makes, and offering the right sizes — not every size — is what keeps your line tight and your inventory efficient. Here is a plain guide to the common tumbler and bottle capacities and where each one sells, with both ounce and metric equivalents.

Most successful lines run three to four sizes, not seven. A typical winning spread is one commuter size (16–20oz), one large daily size (30oz), and one trend size (40oz). Add a small (12oz) only if you serve coffee or kids. Fewer SKUs at higher volume each means better pricing and simpler inventory.
If a tumbler needs to fit a car cup holder, keep the base diameter around 62–70mm — this matters more than total volume for daily use. Larger 40oz tumblers usually add a handle and a straw because they are too big for one-hand sipping.

We make all of these capacities from 500 pieces per design, with your branding, lids and packaging. Tell us your market and we will recommend the size mix that fits it.
