From 500 Trial Cups to 18,000 Reorders: A Startup Story

The starting point: limited budget, burned once

We first met the founder at an ASI trade show back in 2011 and later visited their office. They wanted to add drinkware, but their previous supplier had let them down — three rounds of rework and still not right. The lesson we took from this order: a lot of online sellers try to win on rock-bottom price. Adding under 5% in packaging and a small gift instead bought roughly a 20% lift in positive-review conversion. Cheapest isn't the same as most profitable.
