Clear plastic or metal? How the two materials compare for a wholesale or private-label line.
Tritan and stainless steel are the two materials most brands choose between for a reusable bottle, and they suit very different products. Tritan is a clear, BPA-free copolyester; stainless is the metal you already know. Here is how they compare when you are deciding what to put in your line.

Tritan looks like glass but does not shatter. It is light, BPA-free, dishwasher-safe, and lets users see how much is left — great for sports, gym and everyday hydration bottles at an accessible price. It does not insulate, so it is for room-temperature use, not hot or cold retention.
Food-grade 18/8 stainless is tougher, does not leach, and — when double-walled — delivers real hot/cold retention. It carries a higher retail price and a more premium feel. The trade-offs are weight and cost, and you cannot see the liquid level.

We manufacture both Tritan and stainless bottles from 500 pieces per design, fully branded. Tell us your target retail price and we will tell you which material hits it.
